If you're looking for a typical "Here you see this and here you see that" tour, than this might be not the one for you. But if you love getting some insights into Bilbao's past as harbour city, and into why the Guggenheim Museum is where it is, communicated with a lot of personality and also personal opinions, than this is your tour to book.

Definitely a tour worth doing and a guru willing to take the extra mile. Suzanna (Sanna) is clearly passionate about her city and has all the skills and will to pass her passion to guests. We saw so much and learned about every aspect of the city but also the Basque culture.

Sanna has been a brilliant tour guide. While exploring the artworks of Space Invader you get to know the city really well and on top you hear many side facts like the historical and cultural background of Bilbao. I had really much fun. Thanks Sanna.

We had high expectations for our walking tour, and Sanna exceeded them! We ended up being the only two people booked for the day, so she was able to tailor the tour to our interests and answer LOTS of questions during the whole tour, as well as add a few things that aren't normally included because she sensed our interest. Sanna's knowledge of history and culture shine through, as does her genuine curiosity about other people and her love for her adopted city. We were able to get a very thorough overview of the history from the old city to the new, and a little bit of everything in between. She even had some secret local spots to show us that we would have never been aware of just by reading about Bilbao and looking where tourists usually go. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sanna's tours to our friends, and we liked it so much we are booking another one with her in two days. 10/10 experience!
